"Spring Pictures"

Just a quick reminder that photographers will be at EHMIS on Wed., February 22, 2012 for all students to have their spring pictures taken. 
**No payment is needed in advance. You will have the opportunity to view the photos before purchasing.**

Important Reminders

Black and White Day - We will be having a district-wide Black & White Day on Wednesday, February 15th in memory of Mr. Phil Hempfing, former Assistant Superintendent at South Western School District.  Please help us honor Mr. Hempfing’s memory and the memory of all our fallen Mustangs, by wearing black & white on Wednesday.

School Closed – Friday, February 17, 2012 – First snow make-up day. 

Reminder…if we have a snow day before that date then school will be in session on the 17th.

President’s Day – School will be closed on Monday, February 20th, for President’s Day.

for the first semester .

Time: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
*An invitation will come home with students who have met all of the requirements to attend this activity.*

Welcome Back!

I hope the winter break provided you time with your children and some much needed rest. I know that we are excited to start back to school and continue the work that we started in 2011. In 2012, we are looking forward to continuing our push towards excellence. It is our hope that your children are challenged, enlightened, and that our work prepares them to take advantage of the endless opportunities that life provides. Looking forward to a productive, healthy, and opportunity filled 2012!
